French Toast

Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 table spoons of low fat milk
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon
  • 3 pieces of whole wheat bread
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
Utencils:
Whisk, Spatula
Directions to prepare:
  1. Mix the 2 eggs and the milk and cinnamon in a bowl large enough to dip the hole pieces of bread in.
  2. Then place the cooking oil into a pan.
  3. When the cooking oil is very hot then your ready to cook.
  4. Add the pieces of bread that have already been dipped in the batter to the pan.
  5. Let cook for about 1 min. on each side.

Frozen Fruit Pops

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of hulled and halved strawberries or kiwi fruit
  • 1 cup 100% orange juice or other 100%fruit juice
  • 4 7-0unce paper cups
  • 4 plastic spoons
Utencils:
Blender
Directions to prepare:
  1. Put fruit and juice in a blender and mix until smooth.
  2. Pour into four 7-ounce cups. Let partially freeze (for about an hour).
  3. Remove and place plastic spoons in cups of juice mixture.
  4. Continue to freeze until firm.
  5. Enjoy your "cool" dessert!

This snack provides two servings of fruits. Remember to use 100% fruit juice.
